Popular video platform YouTube with all its advantages has one significant drawback: its functions can not be used offline and with a bad Internet connection. Of course, in online store applications there are various programs that allow you to upload videos. But they all do not have the most advanced features. But recently, Google representatives reported that users will soon be able to use the new YouTube Go application, which allows you to watch videos offline and even do it at a slower Internet connection speed.
Starting this week, the YouTube Go app will become available more than 130 countries, including Russia. It allows you to save videos to a memory card or to the memory of the mobile device for offline viewing. Before uploading a movie, you can specify a quality that affects the size of the destination file. Moreover, with the help of the new program it is possible to transfer the downloaded content to other devices when using Bluetooth. In addition, due to special data transfer algorithms, users of the application have the ability to view HD videos even without connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
YouTube Go is part of the Android Go application suite that targets devices with a small amount of built-in memory. The application "weighs" only 9.4 megabytes, and it can be installed on devices with the version of Android 4.1 and higher. About the release of the program on iOS at the moment there is no information.
